Ever wondered what happens to all those old printer cartridges you have so dutifully recycled?
Plastic cartridges are usually crushed for recycling, meaning that the remaining ink becomes runoff - and is usually headed for landfill or even to be burned as chemical waste! The team at Lousy thought that this wasn't good enough and are giving both the plastics and ink of your old cartridges new life in their range of high end ink and refillable fine-liner pens. Made by artists, for artists!
Made in Melbourne, this 100% recycled fineliner pen is sourced from a local plastics recycling company and reprocessed to make a fine-art-quality product suitable for drawing or writing - depending on your medium! Lousy's refillable pens feature an 0.8mm tip, and flow effortlessly - proving the recycled pen is mightier than the sword. All Lousy Ink (sold separately) comes with an eye dropper, making refilling the inner-sponge of your favourite Lousy Fine Liner super simple!
Material(s): 100 percent post-consumer waste black ink and plastic.
*Disclaimer: Use in a well-ventilated area, and avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Due to the ink being recycled, ink can vary slightly between pens. Each Lousy Liner contains a unique solution of recycled, non-toxic, water-based ink.
