Amble
From day one Amble been committed to sustainability, and will forever be exploring ways to further reduce our impact. From recycled fabrics, to ethical factories, carbon neutral products to plastic free packaging and tree planting with every order.
Sustainability is core to everything Amble does. From their fabrics to their factories, to the packaging and their freight. Because Amble believes there should be no compromise on people or planet.
Amble have recycled over 250,000 post-consumer bottles into their fabrics that are GRS certified, with over 31 bottles in every jacket they make.
All of Amble's fabrics are certified recycled or organic, predominantly using Global Recycle Standard (GRS) recycled polyester made from recycled post-consumer bottles for their jackets, in addition to using Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) organic cotton. The garment tags (for back neck, sizing and care) are all recycled, and they use recycled card for their swing tags.
The garment manufacturers who Amble partner with have various ethical certifications including BSCI, WRAP, SMETA and GOTS. The raincoat fabric is rafted in Taiwan and the garments in Xiamen, China by a manufacturer with the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), meaning they're audited by a third party to ensure they comply to local laws and Amble receives a detailed report with information about their compliance and working conditions.
