Kowtow is designed in New Zealand and manufactured in Kolkata, India. With a focus on fair workers rights and accreditations by the Global Organic Textile Standard we are proud to be a long time supporter of this timeless and ethical label.
Kowtow only uses 100% fair trade certified organic cotton, as certified by the Fairtrade Labelling Organisations International (FLOI) and SKAL International, produced from seed to garment in India. All fabric is dyed using Global Organic Textiles Standard (GOTS) approved dyes, which are free of hazardous elements such as nickel, lead, formaldehyde, amines, pesticides and heavy metals. Employees receive a living wage and benefits, working in a well-lit, well ventilated and spacious working environment under safe conditions.
